The body structure built from Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ makes the vehicle gain several achievements including the top 5-star rating for exceeding the side and frontal impact crash tests. Acura RDX is also selected as the “TOP SAFETY PICK” by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
